North Orange County bathroom remodel

We have completed this project in North Orange County. We did a bathroom remodel in Ceramic 3×6 white glossy tiles, Carrara octagon mosaic flooring-shower pan-shower niche and Cashmere carrara quartz countertop. We also tiled the ceiling, and did a shower bench.

Garden Grove Home Remodel

T.F.I. Tile & Marble Design was a part of a complete home remodel. We had the privilege to do porcelain wood plank flooring throughout the home, cambria quartz countertops, 3×6 subway tile backsplash and a split face stone fireplace for a home in Garden Grove, CA.

We finished this flooring project within a couple weeks. We did the entire floor and stairway throughout the home. We removed carpet, laminate & ceramic tile. We applied fracture membrane to the concrete slab before we installed the tile. We paper & lathed the stairway and cement floated before we did the tile install.

Ontario bathroom remodel

This was one of two bathroom’s we’re remodeling in Ontario, Ca. The shower enclosure had a leak and the client hadn’t used the bathroom for years. I came out to give an estimate and inspected the shower, it was leaking from the shower valve and the pan had a crack in it. After demo the wood was infested with termites and water damage. The termite professional was called and we replaced the wood. Here are some before and after photos of this bathroom.

La Mirada Bathroom & Fireplace

We just finished up a project in La Mirada, the outskirts of Orange County. La Mirada is located near Buena Park & Fullerton. The bathrooms & laundry room tile floors were done by another flooring contractor. He specializes in carpet & wood flooring but not in tile flooring. Sadly, we had to remove a month old tile flooring that had too many flaws to repair. We removed the existing tile and sub flooring which lacked screws, nails & glue. Which most likely this would have had to be redone in 2-3 years because of possible cracks. In cases like this, we always recommend the client to review their contractors and their areas of expertise.

The client asked our opinion on what we would do with the fireplace. We recommended using today’s hottest stone. Which is Scabas (split face) marble. After completing the fireplace we feel the living room has a whole new feel & look. The client was very happy with his new flooring and new fireplace. He is excited to have us out to do his backyard BBQ.

Fullerton Kitchen Remodel

We completed this project in Fullerton, Orange County. The original cooktop island was flat with upper cabinets. It was a dated look. We recommended to change the style of the island and give it a raised bar, remove the upper cabinets and add canned lighting.
